WGSG Client Safety, Refund, and Liability Policy IB5-15
Introduction:
WGSG is committed to client safety and satisfaction. This policy explains our safety practices, refund rules, and liability limits. By using our services, clients accept these terms.
I. Safety Precautions
Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for informing Ringers Group of any potential hazards on their property, including but not limited to:
Underground utilities (electric, gas, water, and sewage)
Overhead power lines
Unstable structures
Hazardous materials
Ringers Group Responsibility: Our team will take reasonable precautions to ensure a safe working environment, including:
Conducting site assessments to identify potential hazards
Using personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety gear
Following industry-standard safety protocols
Client Access: Clients are not permitted to enter the work area during ongoing projects, except with prior authorization from Ringers Group personnel.
II. Refund Process
Cancellation Policy: Clients may cancel their project at any time, but refunds will be issued based on the following schedule:
Cancellation prior to project commencement: full refund
Cancellation after project commencement but before 50% completion: 50% refund
Cancellation after 50% completion: no refund
Refund Procedure: To initiate a refund, clients must submit a written request to WGSG Financial Department within 30 days of project cancellation.
Refund Timeline: Refunds will be processed within 60 days of receipt of the written request.
III. Liability for Damages
Ringers Group Liability: We will be liable for damages caused by our negligence or willful misconduct, up to a maximum amount of $35,000.
Client Liability: Clients will be liable for damages caused by their own negligence or willful misconduct.
Property Damage: In the event of property damage, WGSG will take reasonable steps to mitigate the damage and restore the property to its original condition.
IV. Insurance
Liability Insurance: WGSG maintains liability insurance coverage to protect our clients and employees.
Worker’s Compensation: We maintain worker’s compensation insurance to cover our employees in the event of work-related injuries.
V. Dispute Resolution
Mediation: In the event of a dispute, WGSG and the client agree to participate in mediation to resolve the issue.
Arbitration: If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute will be resolved through arbitration, in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
VI. Governing Law
This policy will be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina.
VII. Amendments
WGSG reserves the right to amend this policy at any time, without prior notice. Clients will be notified of any changes and will be required to acknowledge and agree to the revised policy.
